To All of our Valued Customers:
Jim and I would like to thank you all for your years of support, trust in us and the enduring friendships we have made along the way of our almost 30-year journey at the helm of Precon. We have come to the decision that it is time to step away and retire. Jim has developed a heath issue that will require him to concentrate on wellness; so, he would not be able to continue his day-to-day duties in our business.
Our official closing date is August 28th. Jim will slow down taking orders based on our ability to finish jobs by August 28. Our goal is to have all work completed and returned to our customers by Mid-August. I will be working hard to clear up any outstanding gage orders or approvals to complete jobs for the gage shop by our official closing date. Any calibration orders in transit will be shipped back to you.
We understand that our imminent retirement is short notice and will leave some of you looking for new vendors, and we are sorry for that, but we will work to help refer you to other shops based on your needs.
To those of you who knew and were so kind to our German Shepard dog Hank for the 14 years he worked here at the shop, we both sincerely thank you. It’s been over a year since his passing, and we still have customers asking for him; he was a credit to his breed.
A successful business is born on the relationships you make; honesty, trust, reliability and hard work are at the core of these relationships. We feel lucky to have shared those qualities with so many wonderful people, customers and companies.
We hope that you will wish us both health and wellness as we pursue a life outside of the everyday world of Precon, and again, we send our sincere gratitude to all of you for the years of support.
